British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran’s '+-=÷x' Tour in Mumbai turned out to be a starry affair on Saturday, as several members of the B-town attended the 'Shape of You' singer’s live show at the Mahalaxmi Race Course.
The members from the entertainment fraternity at the gig included Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit, director-choreographer Farah Khan, actor Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput Kapoor, singer-songwriters Anuv Jain and Ritviz, and actors Milind Soman, Priyamani, and Gaurav Kapoor.
Popular singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh, who will soon be seen in the movie ‘Crew’, performed with Ed Sheeran on the stage.
Diljit took to his Instagram to share a video of his meeting with Sheeran.
In the video, Diljit could be seen interacting with Sheeran as the two vibed together.
They were seen chatting with each other on the 360-degree stage at the venue. While Diljit was dressed in a denim jacket and jeans, Sheeran chose a white T-shirt and black shorts to beat the heat.
Diljit wrote in the caption: "ONE LOVE."
Sheeran's concert in Mumbai had a big surprise in the form of Armaan Malik making an appearance and performing with the visiting pop star.
Sheeran and Armaan have earlier collaborated on the song titled '2step'. The song, which was released in June 2022, turned out to be a huge global hit. Giving a taste of a thrilling collaboration once again to the audience, the two singers performed '2step' live together.
Interestingly, ever since Ed Sheeran's Mumbai concert was announced, fans have been demanding a collaboration between him and Armaan Malik, as the latter is the only Indian singer who has collaborated with Ed.
Sherene Rao, a young beauty from Bengaluru who flew into Mumbai for the concert, said, “He had immense stage presence. He also tripped prior to getting on stage ? But he just nailed it!! It was so good
He also explained about his pedal loop station and how everything he did yesterday was purely live…
Alisha was the violinist.”
“It was such a great vibe with 50k folks!! Surreal,” Sherene concluded.
