Emirati and Arab literary creativity showcased at Doha, Rabat book fairs

Menassah is showcasing a diverse selection of books in both book fairs.

Menassah Distribution Company remains committed to its participation programme to broaden the reach of Emirati and Arab books, introducing them to readers in the Gulf region and beyond. As part of this endeavour, Menassah is actively engaged in the 2024 Doha International Book Fair and the 2024 Rabat International Book and Publishing Fair, with UNESCO serving as the distinguished guest of honour for the current session.

At the ongoing Doha Fair, which continues until May 18, Menassah is showcasing a diverse selection of 3,500 books, including 540 titles representing the latest publications from 60 Emirati publishing houses across various genres, such as literature, authorship, and translation, serving as a testament to the intellectual creativity of Emirati authors and translators.

Meanwhile, Menassah's pavilion at the Moroccan Book Fair, which continues until May 19, is presenting visitors with a rich collection of UAE books, featuring 2,841 books, including 494 titles meticulously curated from the most prominent publications of 59 Emirati publishers.

Menassah reiterates that its active participation in such prominent cultural events locally and internationally aligns with its strategic objectives of supporting Arab culture and providing Emirati publishing houses with opportunities to showcase their publications on a global stage. By offering cost-effective mechanisms to promote Emirati publications, Menassah aims to contribute to the growth of the Arabic content industry in the UAE.
