Indonesian singer Taufiq’s ability to sing Hindi duets wins hearts across social media

Indonesian singer Taufiq Lida is currently in the spotlight on social media, attracting the attention of Indian and subcontinent netizens.

 

The singer, who is known by his real name Taufiqur Rahman has managed to steal attention thanks to his ability to sing Indian songs, both in male and female voices at the same time. Videos of Taufiq have gone viral on Instagram with fans asking him to sing songs of their choice.

 

Taufiq said that he first became widely known when he sang an Indian song at a wedding in Jakarta.

His friend recorded the moment and Taufiq uploaded it on social media.

 

"So initially I sang an Indian song at a wedding. My friend recorded it and I posted it," said Taufiq.

 

One of Taufiq's videos that went viral was uploaded on April 16, 2024. The video has received tens of thousands of likes.

 

The post shows Taufiq LIDA singing "Pyar Dilon Ka Mela Hai," the soundtrack from the film starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

 

Of the thousands of comments that came in, many came from Indians who gave their appreciation to the 26-year-old singer.

Another video that went viral was when Taufiq sang the song "Humko Humise Chura Lo," the soundtrack of the film Mohabbatein.

 

Indian netizens have been sharing their love for Taufiq all over social media.
