A woman from a village in Odisha known as the Kadapada village of Ganjam district was discovered to have been born with 12 fingers and 19 toes.
Social media is going gaga over her story and many claim she is soon going to be entering the Guinness World Records.
Many in her village consider her a witch for her abnormality and many others also treat her as a bad omen.
Beyond all the abuse and the negative reaction from her villagers, this woman holds her head high and is gearing up to celebrate her uniqueness.
The 65-year-old woman barely leaves her house in Ganjam to avoid being mocked at.
The previous record-holder was Devendra Suthar of Gujarat with 28 digits (14 fingers and as many toes).
As the post went viral, Twitterati flooded the social media with their reactions. A user wrote: "Stop making fun out of other people's misery and misfortune...."
Another wrote, "It's normal to have added fingers those who don't like, are abnormal!"
A post read, "She is all set to enter the Guinness World Records book. Last month, a Chinese man born with nine toes on his left foot underwent life-changing surgery to remove the extra toes."
