Children are children, whether they are rich or poor, royal or commoner. They find delight in virtually the same little things. For instance, some children have been spotted enjoying being wheeled around in a shopping trolley at a mall here.

Now, the fourth in line to the British throne was seen treated to a similar experience, except that it was a wheelbarrow. That was Prince Louis for you, and the person who was pushing the wheelbarrow around was none other than his mother, Princess Kate.

The pictures of the prince in the wheelbarrow were published by his parents, Prince William and Kate, to mark his fifth birthday on Sunday. Another picture shows a smiling Louis looking off to the side of the camera, according to Reuters.

The photographs of Louis were taken by one of Britain’s most respected portrait photographers, Millie Pilkington, earlier this month in Windsor. Louis follows his father William and siblings George and Charlotte to the throne of England.
