Abu Dhabi launches 26-day Mother of the Nation fest

Get ready for 26 days of nonstop fun and festivities as the biggest edition of MOTN Festival, everyone’s favourite family festival, takes over Abu Dhabi Corniche for an unforgettable season finale from December 6-31.

With an ‘Out of This World’ theme and spanning 1.5km, families can immerse themselves in more than 350 experiences filled with carnival rides, nonstop entertainment, exciting games and arcades, flavours from around the world, shopping, high-energy concerts, memorable photo opportunities and Instagrammable moments, and much more -guaranteed to end the year on a high note.

Organised by creative events agency Brag, the MOTN Festival will land in Abu Dhabi for an extraordinary December celebration. In collaboration with key partners including ENBD, VIU streaming platform and Al Masaood Auto, MOTN Abu Dhabi will offer exceptional experiences and activities which will transport festival goers to a universe where every corner is filled with awe, joy, and intergalactic surprises waiting to be explored. With crowd-favourite themed zones – Amuse, Thrill, Indulge, and Entertain – visitors can easily explore their interests and plan the perfect day.

Ninja Kidz Weekend Take-Over

On the opening weekend of MOTN Abu Dhabi, Ninja Kids – all the way from America – are taking over! From 6 to 8 December the popular Ninja Kidz are bringing their electrifying live performances to MOTN Abu Dhabi, packed with jaw-dropping moves and action.

Venture to the Thrill Zone to explore the galaxy-themed indoor trampoline park where kids can bounce, defy gravity, and showcase their ninja skills at the Ninja Kidz Action Park.

Highlights in the Amuse Zone

Enter the Amuse Zone for a wonderland of unique entertainment and attractions that will spark curiosity and joy for visitors of all ages.

Visit the Out of This World Museum for plenty of space-themed Instagrammable moments. Bounce across Dream Nebula, navigate the Time Vortex, get creative in the Cosmic Lab, and follow the mesmerising Celestial Trail.

For awe-inspiring views, hop on the Ferris Wheel and take in the Abu Dhabi Corniche from above.

Families can also head down with the kids for exciting shows at the MOTN Theatre. With four shows a day, you can expect to see performances from your most beloved characters such as Bluey, Number Blocks, Falfool, Miraculous, Mr. Bean and more.

Excitement in the Thrill Zone

There’s adrenaline and excitement everywhere you go in the Thrill Zone, with attractions designed to elevate heart rates. A spine-tingling challenge awaits horror fans with the Five Nights at Freddy’s live maze, where the eerie world of the popular video game comes to life.

For something different, blast off into an unforgettable adventure with Space Flight! Feel like a skydiving astronaut as you take flight and soar through space in an open-air wind tunnel. This exhilarating add-on to any festival ticket is your chance to fly, dive, and float in a one-of-a-kind, high-flying experience!

There’s also the Time Capsule tunnel, an iconic art installation that transports you to a surreal world, through a soft glow of neon lights that creates a time-travelling ambience. It’s the perfect experience to get an ‘out of this world’ feel as you stroll through a mesmerising tunnel of crafted art and lighting.

The Big NYE Celebration

Celebrate New Year’s Eve with family and friends at MOTN, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Abu Dhabi Corniche. The best place to celebrate the beginning of 2025, enjoy uninterrupted views of the city’s grand fireworks display, as well as live performances throughout the night.

Families and friends can soak up the festive cheer with delicious bites from an international array of food stalls, captivating entertainment, and a vibrant atmosphere.
