SHARJAH: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan’s former wife Jemima Goldsmith looks tired of answering questions about her ex-husband.
Jemima and Imran tied the knot in 1995 and parted ways in 2004. Jemima still has a huge following in Pakistan and her tweets never go unnoticed in the south Asian country.
During his election campaign and after being elected as prime minister, Imran praised Jemima in several TV interviews and his two sons still live with the mother in Britain.
Years after the divorce, Jemima still has to deal with the questions about Imran.
Recently, a guy asked Jemima on Twitter “does she still love Imran Khan?”
It all started when Jemima tweeted about Brexit.
“Tories who formerly trashed May’s deal now say, “Context and circumstances have changed” and are backing it, but refuse to accept that context and circumstances of Brexit have changed and it could also be reconsidered.”
“Do you still love Imran Khan?” asked a user.
Jemima responded: “This is always going to be the first reply to every tweet for the rest of my life until I’m dead.”
