Breathtaking circus at Dubai Summer Surprises

One of the many citywide activities for people to enjoy, as part of the 22nd Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), Mercato is hosting a series of international circus stage shows that will delight crowds right through until Aug 3.

Residents and visitors can head to Mercato to enjoy the spectacular Acrobatic Circus show, featuring acrobatic acts by international artists with Russian Bar, Extremer Rollers, Chyrl Wheel, and much more. The festivities of the summer will continue with the Magical Comedy show, a show stopping performance by top magicians that will thrill the whole family. Guests can expect to laugh the whole day long with The Magic Phil Show, a high-octane show featuring non-stop silliness, songs, audience participation and lots of magic games.

Also on offer at Mercato will be a fun-filled Kids Fiesta, including balloons and character painting, as well as the giant slide; the ultimate adrenaline rush for families and children to beat the heat and slide into summer fun.

In addition to an action-packed summer, Mercato is offering an array of incredible discounts ranging from 25 – 75 per cent off giving shoppers fantastic value during DSS. The 22nd edition of the Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) this year is offering residents and visitors exciting events, sales, entertainment and offers on citywide attractions till Aug.3.

The organisers Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has revealed the highlights of the mall events taking place during the festival:

There’s an array of tropical activations happening at Ibn Battuta Mall until Aug.3. Kids can take part in the Tropical Summer-themed workshop which includes fun activities such as the obstacle course, climbing wall, sand pit slide, cave of mirrors and so much more.

There are stage shows every Thursday and Friday featuring some of the best-loved classics such as Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan Adventures, Alice in Wonderland and Last Voyage of Sindbad.

One can download The Dubai Mall app and access the ‘Surprize and Delight’ of the day, where customers can win prizes through the app from participating retailers until Aug.3. Shoppers only need to register and log in daily to avail the exciting offers.

The indoor family entertainment event, Modhesh World, is expanding for DSS 2019 with Planet Modhesh at City Centre Mirdif until July 23. Planet Modhesh is an exciting and engaging platform for 3-years and above children and hosts various hands-on workshops, e-gaming, VR games and arts & crafts.

Visitors can meet real life superheroes at Mall of the Emirates and City Centre Mirdif as iconic characters from Justice League visit Dubai.

They can watch thrilling shows, take part in action-packed activities and enjoy a meet and greet with Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman and The Flash. The Justice League characters will be at Mall of the Emirates until 21 July, and City Centre Mirdif from July 25 to Aug.3.

Recently a couple, as part of this year’s Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), Miriam Wanjiru from Kenya was announced as the very first “Shop and Win” promotion winner of a brand-new luxurious car at the weekly raffle draw held at Dubai Outlet Mall. Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) and Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG), shoppers can get a chance to win and drive home an INFINITI Q30 every week during this festive period.
