Sharjah Municipality announces free parking until further notice

The Sharjah Municipality announced that public parking would be free all over the city from Monday until further notice.

The decision came as part of the municipality’s keenness on maintaining the health and safety of the individuals of the society through its preventive and precautionary measures to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and urge the individuals of the society to stay at home and not to mix with others.

The municipality indicated that its inspectors would check all parking lots to detect all violations such as double parking and reserving more than one parking lot.

Based on this, the municipality is calling on the individuals of the society to park their cars regularly to enable everyone to benefit from public parking lots.
