The UAE Health authorities on Thursday released a list of centres for COVID-19 vaccination programme, a day after the country approved the China’s Sinopharm vaccine.
The UAE health ministry said the vaccine was 86% effective according to analysis of third-phase trials.
The Health Ministry announced that the COVID-19 vaccine is currently available all across the UAE.
All clinics run by SEHA, and private medical facilities run by VPS Healthcare will start the vaccination programmme from Saturday.
The emirate of Dubai will start the vaccination programme at its field hospital in Dubai Parks.
In Sharjah, Wasit Health Center will lead the way for the programme. People have been urged to follow the centre’s time, from 4pm until 9pm.
Ajman’s Al Hamidiyah Health Center will operate from 9am to 12:30pm, and from 5pm to 8:30pm.
Al Bait Mutwahed Centre in Umm Al Quwain will conduct the programme.
Ras Al Khaimah’s Al Mu’aireed Medical Centre will carry out the vaccination drive from 8am to 1pm, and Mraished Health Center in Fujairah will do the vaccination.
A person will not be entertained if Emirates ID and Ministry’s Health cards are not produced at the centres.

The vaccine will be administered in two shots, 21 days apart.
