VIDEO: Sharjah Civil Defence contain huge fire in Industrial Area

The Sharjah Civil Defense teams have successfully managed to put out a fire that blasted in Sharjah’s Industrial Area 2 on Saturday afternoon.

The fire took place at a site that contains scrap parts, and fortunately resulted in no injuries.

Civil Defense officials revealed that they had received a call around 4:54 pm reporting about the fire, and teams were immediately dispatched to the scene in a record time.

At arrival, civil teams used all necessary means to control the fire, and successfully put it out by 5:30 pm after using several cooling strategies.

It was revealed that the scrap parts were flammable material which contributed in the growth of fire once it started.

Concerned authorities took over the fire site after the flames were put out, and reasons behind what caused the fire are now under investigation.
