Rains of varying intensity fell on separate areas across the UAE on Monday. Light rains started at 3pm on Khatm Al Shikla, while moderate rains fell on Al Foah in Al Ain City.
The lowest temperature of 22.3˚C was recorded in Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah at 6:15am on Monday.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) called on drivers to exercise extreme caution while driving vehicles with the lack of visibility due to rains and sand-stirring winds and to stay away from flooded valleys.
According to the NCM, the weather on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday is expected to be fair to partly cloudy and dusty sometimes during the day, with a chance of some cumulus rainy clouds in the east in the afternoon.
Light to moderate south-easterly to north-easterly winds will blow on the UAE, turning to strong and sand-stirring sometimes at 15 to 25 and up to 40 km/h. The sea will have light waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
