His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, along with Sheikh Hamdan and Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed, inspected on Friday morning the headquarters of Expo 2020 Dubai on a visit to the major global event that brings together 192 countries under one roof.
Sheikh Mohammed visited the pavilions of the UAE, the United States of America, the People's Republic of China and Kazakhstan, in the exhibition on the first day of its holding.
On Thursday evening, the world's attention turned to the UAE, during the global opening ceremony of Expo 2020 Dubai, which witnessed international artists’ performances that used the latest sound, light and laser technologies in an experience that is the first of its kind in the world.
Expo 2020 Dubai will be held from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, and is the first World Expo to be organized in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region.
