In a shocking video posted on YouTube, a mosque's security cameras recorded the moment the man dropped dead while performing Maghrib prayer in Iraq.
The incident took place in Ramadi.
Two men rushed towards the victim who was believed to be have suffered a heart attack.
The men could be seen trying to rescue him by conducting CPR.
Seconds later, more people join the men in an attempt to resurrect the man.
They then rushed him to the hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
The mosque where the man was praying announced the death over the microphones and condoled the family.
Social media users have offered their condolences to the family of the man.
In October 2021, a middle-aged Egyptian man dropped dead while prayering at his workplace in Smouha neighbourhood in Alexandria.
A surveillance camera captured the last moments of the man’s life.
