Four people between the ages of 14 and 35 years were injured, ranging from medium to light, as a result of a Dune Buggy and SUV collision that occurred in a desert area in the Al Dhafra region in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Colonel Hamdan Saif Al Mansouri, Director of the Al Dhafra Police Department in the Criminal Security Sector of the Abu Dhabi Police, explained that the Abu Dhabi Police Aviation Department and the support teams reached the site after receiving the information from the Command and Control Center (the operating room), and the air ambulance transported the injured to Madinat Zayed Hospital to receive the necessary treatment.
He stated that the area of the accident occurred in a desert area far from the site of the Liwa International Festival, the "Mureeb Hill", pointing to the speed of response in dealing with the communication and providing support and care for the injured.
He called on the public to be careful and not to be reckless while practicing their favourite hobbies, to abide by safety and security requirements, and to avoid unexpected surprises that may lead to such accidents.
