In line with the vision of Dubai’s leadership to make Dubai the global city with the best quality of life and further enhance its appeal as the world’s best city to visit, live, work, invest in, and study, Golden Visa holders in Dubai will be gifted the coveted Esaad privilege card.
The card is issued by the Dubai Police and offers its members a host of exclusive offers and discounts. The card will be provided free of charge to holders of 5-year and 10-year Golden Visas in Dubai.
So far, 65,000 people in Dubai have benefited from the distinguished Golden Visa since the launch of the long-term residency scheme. Select categories of Golden Visa holders in Dubai will receive the Esaad card.
These categories include investors in public investment funds, real estate investors, entrepreneurs, people with specialised talents and researchers in science and knowledge, such as scientists, doctors, specialists, inventors, and creative people in culture and art.
They will also include executive directors, specialised academics, professional sportspeople, PhD degree holders specialising in engineering or science, humanitarian aid workers, and outstanding university and high-school graduates.
Exclusive offers and discounts are available for cardholders at 7,237 brands and businesses within the UAE and across 92 countries worldwide.
Abdulla Mohammed Al Basti, Secretary-General of Dubai's Executive Council, said, "This initiative supports the leadership’s vision to make Dubai the world’s best city to live in. It also aligns with their directives to provide Golden residency holders with a range of incentives in addition to the stability that the long-term visa offers. The stability and incentives will, in turn, encourage holders of the Golden Visa to continue contributing to Dubai’s wider economy. They will also help the city attract fresh and exceptional talent from across the world."

The card will be shared electronically with all Golden Visa holders within select categories via a text message (SMS) outlining the necessary details. The Esaad card provides exclusive and extraordinary offers and discounts in the UAE and beyond."
The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) announced that the Abu Dhabi Government reduced the requirements for starting a new commercial business by 71 per cent.
Aiming at attracting and retaining talents, the UAE updates the Golden Residence rules as a part of the new Entry and Residence Scheme. The scope of beneficiaries is expanded offering more benefits including 10 years renewable residence
The government clarified that if a person has an entry permit or a visa issued by Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, UAQ, RAK or Fujairah, he can check its validity, issuance and expiry date through the eChannel platform of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Security ports.
ICA called on foreigners in the country and abroad wishing to obtain a golden visa to check their eligibility to obtain it through the website http://smartservices.icp.gov.ae and to follow the steps and instructions.
The UAE mission to the Security Council stated through its account in X: “In light of our deep concern over Israel’s resumption of hostilities and the continuing deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, the UAE urgently called for closed consultations for the Security Council on Monday, December 4.”
President noted that this year's Union Day comes as the UAE hosts the largest international event on environment and climate with high-level global participation.
The design contains the COP28 logo, the Dubai symbol and multiple climate symbols, to be used to stamp the passports of passengers arriving through Dubai airports.
