Gang of 5 Asians arrested for running fake massage centres in Sharjah

The Criminal Investigations Department of Sharjah Police arrested a gang of 5 Asians who run fake places for massage, using them to lure victims desiring to get massages or physiotherapy sessions, where they are lured and blackmailed under threat of white weapons for the purpose of theft.
Colonel Omar Abu Al Zoud, Director of the CID at Sharjah Police, said that the department had received a tip off alerting that an Asian suspect was distributing massage cards in the Rolla area.
The competent security teams raided the suspect’s residence, and after searching it, they found a number of boxes containing ads cards for a massage service along with a number of knives of different sizes.
Investigations identified the rest of the gang members who were arrested. They confessed to the details of their roles in the crime and were referred to the competent authorities.
Sharjah Police warned the community members of the fraudulent methods used by criminals to entrap their victims and seize their money, calling for caution and reporting immediately if any suspicious negative ads or phenomena are detected.
