Sheikh Mohammed promotes 6,802 personnel of Dubai security services

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has ordered the promotion of 6,802 senior officers, non-commissioned officers and individuals from the Dubai Police, the State Security Agency in Dubai, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, and the Department The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Dubai.

The move is in appreciation of the efforts and achievements of the security system in the emirate and its results in achieving the highest levels of competitiveness in extending security and safety, and providing high-level services to all members of society in line with Dubai’s directions to achieve global leadership in various fields.

The promotions included (4141) members of the Dubai Police, and (323) members benefited from the promotions in the General Directorate of Civil Defense, and the promotions included (1458) employees of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, in addition to a number of elements of the State Security Agency in Dubai.

Lieutenant-General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai, extended his deepest thanks and gratitude to Sheikh Mohammed for the precious honour.

He stressed that the high position achieved by the UAE under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and the directives of Sheikh Mohammed, requires that more efforts be made.
