UAE launches ‘one-touch’ comprehensive service to obtain the golden residency

The Federal Authority for Identity and Nationality, Customs and Ports Security announced the launch of a new service, “the Comprehensive Service" for golden residency "with one touch," to make it easier for customers and benefit from smart services easily to save time and effort.
This enhances the digital transformation of government services.
The authority clarified the launch of the comprehensive service for golden residency to unify all visa services through integrated packages.
This will help to complete the application for candidacy for golden residency, issuance of visas, regularisation of status, and issuance of residency and identity, with the possibility of renewing them in only one step.
The authority called on customers and those wishing to obtain the golden residency to benefit from this service by visiting the authority’s website www.icp.gov.ae, or the smart application UAEICP to obtain the golden package.
The authority indicated that the golden residency programme, which was launched for 5 or 10 years without the need for a sponsor in the country, includes “talented individuals with competencies, researchers, outstanding students, doctors, specialists, creators, athletes, entrepreneurs, and investors in the economic and real estate sectors.”
The authority affirmed granting golden residency to specific groups, and their family members, with the aim of creating an attractive environment that allows talented individuals the opportunity to work and settle in order to be part of the country’s success story, and its excellence in the fields of creativity, research, development, health care, agriculture, financial services, and the emerging companies sector.
The Identity and Nationality authority referred to the updated system for entry visas that provides new and multiple purposes and options for those wishing to visit the country with flexible and extendable visit periods of up to a year, without requiring a guarantor or a host in the country, with the aim of facilitating procedures and requirements. This gives visitors and job seekers the opportunity to achieve their ambitions on the land of the Emirates and enjoy a safe and stable life.
The authority called on all groups to take advantage of the new features of the updated visa system by visiting the authority’s website and the smart application to identify and apply for these benefits through the website.
The authority stressed that the updated visa system represents a quantum leap in the entry and residence of foreigners in the region and the world, as it embodies the principles and fifty-year plan adopted by the wise leadership to advance the country during the next fifty years, and embodies the concepts of coexistence and human brotherhood on which the UAE was built.
