6 siblings die, parents and 3 children rushed to ICU after horrific traffic accident in Saudi Arabia

Six siblings were killed, and their parents and 3 other children were transferred to intensive care in a serious condition following a tragic traffic accident in Saudi Arabia.

The accident took place on the road linking Taif Governorate with the Al-Baha region.

The driver of the second vehicle also died.

He was in his mid-sixties, while one four-year-old girl survived without any injuries.

According to Saudi local media, a kin narrated the details.

He said, “During the return of my brother Ahmed’s family from Medina to Al-Baha, and upon their arrival on the road linking Al-Baha and Taif, a painful traffic accident occurred in which 6 brothers and their sister died.”

The oldest of them is 17-year-old and the youngest is two and a half years old.

The names were Reem, Salem, Muhammad, Saud, Yahya and Hamdan.

The father, mother, two daughters, Rinad and Munira and a son, Sultan, were transferred to intensive care units at three hospitals in Taif.

The relative added, "By the grace of God, their father was released from the intensive care unit. We ask God for healing for all of them, and for the deceased's mercy and forgiveness."

The funeral prayers were performed for 6 members of the family after the Asr prayer.

They were buried in a cemetery in Taif Governorate.
