'We appreciate the role of Mohamed Bin Zayed in the return of Syria to the Arab League,' says Assad

His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, met on Friday, on the sidelines of the 32nd Arab League Summit, Bashar Al-Assad, President of Syrian Arab Republic.
During the meeting, cordial conversations were exchanged that express the depth of the brotherly relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
The meeting touched on the agenda of the summit, in addition to issues and topics of common concern.
Sheikh Mansour also conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE to the Syrian President, who in turn expressed his thanks and appreciation to the President of the UAE, for the positions of the UAE in support of Syria, and its role in its return to the League of Arab States and the Arab ranks.
Sheikh Mansour wished brotherly Syria stability and peace. The meeting was attended by the two accompanying delegations from the UAE and Syria.
