In a heroic act, a young Saudi girl named Rima sacrificed her life to rescue her siblings from a horrific accident that almost killed them all.

Rima succeeded in saving her brothers, but she was killed after the vehicle carrying her family members fell from Haswa Mountains and settled in a slope down the mountain, local media reported.

The Rima’s family came from Asir region to Riyadh to spend their vacation in the southern region, specifically in Haswa Mountains in Rijal Almaa, but unfortunately they suffered a terrible accident.

When the family reached the peak of those high mountains, the father stopped and got out of the car accompanied by one of his sons, after he had put the car in the parking mode.

But the vehicle moved backward in the direction towards the slope, according to the Saudi local media.
In a quick reaction from the older sister, Rima Bint Manna Rashid, 21, threw her three brothers, who were with her inside the vehicle, one by one out of the car.

Two brothers were not injured, while a third, 11, was critically injured so he was admitted to intensive care.
But Rima was killed in the fall.

Although she was next to the door and could get out, she chose to save her brothers. The car fell from the top of the mountain with Rima inside, before landing in the valley.

Saudi media pointed out that Rima graduated this year, and was interning at King Khalid Airport in Riyadh, in preparation for the start of her job there.
