Three students and two female supervisors of a private school sustained minor and moderate injuries after the school bus they were in swerved somewhere in the emirate on Thursday.

No serious injuries were reported as a result of the accident. The injured were taken to the hospital for the necessary medical treatment.

According to the initial sketch of the accident, the school bus suddenly swerved, hitting the sidewalk and causing injuries to the passengers.

Sharjah Police stressed the necessity for drivers of vehicles and school buses to be cautious while driving and abide by traffic rules.
