Dubai Public Prosecution has revealed a second case of fake Emiratisation where an establishment owner circumvented the Emiratisation decisions of Nafis programme.

The court slapped the establishment owner with a fine of Dhs100,000 on this charge. More fines will be imposed in accordance with the number of workers involved in the violation and in this case, there are two female employees involved.

Counselor Dr. Ali Humaid Bin Khatem, Advocate General and Head of Naturalization and Residency Prosecution, stated that the prosecution would not tolerate the failure of companies to abide by the decisions issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) regarding Emiratisation rates in the private sector.

The Emiratis registered in the Nafis programme must truly benefit from this system by being present at the workplace and discharging the tasks assigned to them, he said, adding that any violations by the establishments of these regulations and policies must be reported to the MoHRE.
