Pakistanis help community's 500 rain-hit families with essentials

In the wake of recent heavy rainfall in Sharjah, the Pakistani community has rallied together to provide essential aid to those affected by the floods.

Despite facing their own challenges, Pakistanis in Sharjah have stepped up to support their fellow residents in need.

Led by the Pakistan Social Center Sharjah, relief efforts have been ongoing, with dedicated volunteers working tirelessly to deliver aid to those surrounded by rising floodwaters.

President Khalid Hussain Chaudhry expressed the community's commitment to assisting all affected individuals, irrespective of their race or colour.

On the second day of relief operations, the Pakistan Social Center Sharjah successfully distributed ration goods to 500 families, ensuring that essential supplies reached those most in need.

Khalid Hussain Chaudhry emphasised that the Pakistani community's support extends beyond mere assistance, reflecting a deep-rooted commitment to the welfare of the broader Sharjah community.

Despite ongoing challenges such as waterlogged streets and disrupted transportation, Pakistanis have been actively engaged in providing aid to rain victims. From delivering food items in affected areas to coordinating water drainage efforts, the community has demonstrated resilience and solidarity in the face of adversity.

Khalid Hussain Chaudhry highlighted the longstanding contribution of Pakistanis to the development and prosperity of the United Arab Emirates, emphasising that even in challenging times, their spirit of generosity and compassion shines through.
