UAE may experience rain and drop in temperatures until the end of the week

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) expected chances of light rain falling in various areas of the UAE, with a drop in temperatures until the end of this week, as a result of the country being affected by an extension of a low surface depression, accompanied by an extension of an air high in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The NCM added that Tuesday’s weather is partly cloudy in general and cloudy at times in some southern and eastern regions with a chance of rain, with a drop in temperatures in some coastal areas, and humid at night and Wednesday morning with a chance of mist or light fog forming in some inland and coastal areas, and the winds are northerly. Westerly to southwesterly, light to moderate speed, active at times, raising dust, and its speed ranges from 15 to 25, reaching 40 km/h. The sea is moderately turbulent at times in the Arabian Gulf, and light to medium waves in the Sea of Oman.

The authorities explained that the weather on Wednesday will be fair to partly cloudy, and clouds will appear over the far northeastern regions at noon with the possibility of light rain, with a drop in temperatures, and humid at night and Thursday morning with the possibility of light fog forming over some coastal areas, and southwesterly to northerly winds. Light to moderate westerly winds, sometimes active, raising dust. Its speed ranges from 10 to 25, reaching 35 km/h. The sea has moderate to light waves in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.

The authorities pointed out that the weather on Thursday is generally fair to partly cloudy, and cloudy at times in the far northern and eastern regions in the afternoon, with the possibility of light rain, and humid at night and Friday morning in some coastal and inland areas, and the winds are southwesterly, turning to northeasterly, light to moderate speed, brisk. Sometimes it raises dust, and its speed ranges from 10 to 25, reaching 35 km/h. The sea has light waves in the Arabian Gulf and light to medium waves in the Sea of Oman.

Regarding Friday’s weather, the center expected it to be generally fair to partly cloudy, with clouds appearing to the east in the afternoon that could be cumulus with the possibility of rain falling, and humid at night and Saturday morning in some coastal and inland areas, with light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds, brisk. Sometimes, its speed ranges from 10 to 20, reaching 35 km/h, and the sea is light in waves in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.
