Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, met at the headquarters of the Executive Council in the Emirates Towers in Dubai, with a group of Emirati children who participated in cleaning activities in several Dubai neighborhoods.

The children participated alongside adults in removing debris after the effects of the exceptional weather condition in the UAE last week.

Sheikh Hamdan was keen to talk to the children, listening to their stories about what prompted them to participate in this community effort, despite their young age, as His Highness saw pictures documenting their participation, along with their parents and families, in restoring the condition of the roads to normal in a number of Dubai neighbourhoods, stressing that this participation carries within it many important messages about the importance of raising children to love their homeland, and motivating them to translate these values into actions and achievements that benefit their family and society.

The Crown Prince of Dubai congratulated the children on their early awareness of their responsibility towards their society and their country.

Sheikh Hamdan also expressed his appreciation to their families and loved ones for encouraging them to do this work, which instills in them from an early age the values of solidarity, cooperation, and initiative to serve society, contribute positively to solving problems, and be keen. Dubai will always remain a beautiful city whose splendor is completed by the love and generosity of its people.

The meeting was attended by Alia Al Shamlan, founder and general director of Furjan Dubai.
