The National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority in UAE confirmed the national readiness to deal with the upcoming weather situation, by holding a series of meetings of the Joint Assessment Team for Meteorological and Tropical Situations, which was attended by the Ministry of Interior, the National Center of Meteorology and relevant government agencies.

The authority confirmed the readiness of all relevant parties to deal with the depression by taking all proactive measures, adding that it will be activated after studying and evaluating the circumstances of the weather situation and its consequences in the areas that may be affected by the country, especially since the country is going through the recovery phase from the previous situation.

On the other hand, and in order to ensure the safety of all segments of society during the weather situation, the Ministry of Interior called on the public to exercise caution, adhere to safety requirements and guidelines, and adhere to the instructions of the relevant and official authorities in the country, wishing safety for all. The authorities stressed to the public not to circulate and spread rumours, and the necessity of receiving information, guidance and developments from official sources in the country.
