The Operations Room of the Sharjah Police received a report alerting that a child had died inside a car in one of the areas of Sharjah on Tuesday afternoon.

When the relevant teams moved in and investigated the circumstances of the incident, it turned out that an Asian parent had contracted with a female driver to transport his children to school, and upon their arrival everyone got off, except the child (7 years old). The driver parked the vehicle next to the school and closed it without ensuring that it was empty.

She then went with her husband and when she came back to take the children back home, she found the child dead inside the vehicle.

The Sharjah Police General Command called on parents to transport their children to school using school buses or transporting them using their private vehicles.
