Among the mourners were His Highness Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Saif Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Suroor Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Nahyan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; Lt. General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; Sheikh Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

They prayed to Allah Almighty to rest his soul in Paradise and to grant the Al Nahyan family solace and patience.

The body of the deceased was then laid to rest at the Al Bateen cemetery in Abu Dhabi.

Earlier in the day the Presidential Court has mourned Sheikh Hazza Bin Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who passed away on Thursday.

In its statement, the Presidential Court extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies on the death of Sheikh Hazza Bin Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, praying to Allah Almighty to shower the deceased with His vast mercy, grant him eternal paradise and provide his family and relatives with patience and solace.

Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed, the Crown Prince of Dubai, also mourned the death of Sheikh Hazza Bin Sultan and offered his  condolences to the  Al Nahyan family.

"May God have mercy on Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and sincere condolences to the Al Nahyan family," wrote Sheikh Hamdan on X.

"We ask Him, Glory be to Him, to cover the deceased with His vast mercy, to dwell him in spacious gardens, and to inspire his family and relatives with patience and solace... We belong to God and to Him we shall return."
