Pakistan envoy visits Iranian embassy in Abu Dhabi to condole death of President Raisi

Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan Ambassador to the UAE, visited the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Abu Dhabi to condole the death of President Ebrahim Raisi in a tragic incident.

Faisal Tirmizi extended his heartfelt condolences to Ambassador Reza Ameri of Iran on the tragic loss of precious lives of President Ebrahim Raisi, Amir-Abdollahian and other passengers and crew members of the crashed helicopter.

Tirmizi also expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran in this time of sorrow and grief.
Pakistan joined the people and leadership of Iran in this hour of grief and prayed to Almighty for Magfirah of the departed souls.

Ambassador Tirmizi also signed the condolence book opened at the Iranian embassy.

Earlier, Pakistan’s foreign office also issued a statement, saying it was shocked at Raisi’s demise.

"President Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian were esteemed leaders and statesmen whose contributions to their country and reinforcing Pakistan-Iran relations and regional cooperation will always be remembered,” the foreign office said.
