Soaring temperatures in Moscow shattered a 134-year-old record on Tuesday, reaching 32˚C (89.6 Fahrenheit), TASS News Agency reported.
The previous record was set in 1890, when the temperature reached 31.932˚C (87.8 Fahrenheit), Director of the Hydrometeorological Centre of Russia Roman Vilfand told TASS.
Vilfand added that the temperature reached 33.232˚C (91,4 Fahrenheit) around 3 pm in some areas.
