The UAE announced fees for 21 services provided by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), which range between Dhs50 and Dhs5,000, including fees for entry visas to the UAE.

Regarding the visit visa, ICP said that the visit visa fee for a single trip is Dhs200 and the issuance fee is Dhs100 for each month, while the visit visa fee for multiple trips is Dhs300 and Dhs200 for each month.

The visit visa can be extended for Dhs600, ICP indicated.

As for a multiple-entry tourist visa for 5 years, it can be obtained for Dhs600. For the entry visa for sailors for a single trip for 7 days, and the entry visa for people of Indian nationality who hold regular passports or holders of green cards issued by the United States and European Union countries, it costs Dhs100 and can be extended in return for Dhs250.

ICP indicated that the entry visa fee for work for obtaining green residency visa and entry visa for residence without work cost Dhs200 while the fees of a transit visa for a single trip (for 96 hours) from sea or air ports exits is Dhs100, and the transit visa fee for a single trip (for 48 hours) from sea exits is Dhs50.

According to the ICP, the entry fee for a golden residency visa for several trips (for 6 months) and its extension is Dhs1,100, while the visa fee for citizens of the GCC nationals and their companions for one trip is Dhs200 and the entry fee for foreign companions of citizens of the GCC nationals for one trip is Dhs150.

The fee for amending the status, according to the ICP, amounted to Dhs500, while the cost of extending or cancelling the entry visa and extending the visa data amounted to Dhs50.

The fees for a new residence permit or the renewal fees, as well as the fees for a new green residence permit or its renewal for a period of 5 years for the investor, partner, and high-level skilled worker, and the fees for new residency without work or its renewal are Dhs200 and Dhs100 as issuance fees for each year.

ICP pointed out that the fees for a new golden residence permit or renewal for a period of 10 years is Dhs1,100 and the cost of cancelling the residence permit is Dhs50, while the fees for exemption from a period of delay outside the UAE of 180 days is Dhs100 and Dhs100 for each month of delay after the expiration of the period.

The fees of the work permit for foreign domestic service workers are Dhs5,000 for each year, while the fees for a temporary work permit are Dhs300 and the issuance fees amount to Dhs200 for each month, while the cost of cancelling the temporary work permit is Dhs100.

According to the Authority, the fees for issuing a new regular passport, replacing a passport, or issuing a family book amounted to 50 dirhams, and the fees for issuing a replacement for a lost or damaged passport amounted to 300 dirhams, and a family book to replace a lost or damaged one was 105 dirhams, and the cost of naturalization was 1,000 dirhams for each incoming individual. According to the ICP, the fees for renewing the ID card for citizens and nationals of the GCC for all ages is Dhs100 for one person for 5 years, while the cost of issuing or renewing the ID card for citizens for 10 years is Dhs200 and the fees for issuing or renewing the ID card for all ages for residents is Dhs100 per year. The cost of issuing a replacement for ID card for a lost or damaged one for all ages of citizens, nationals of the GCC and residents for the same remaining period is Dhs300.

The fees for amending the basic data of a valid ID card or issuing a new card for the same remaining period is Dhs150, while the fees for issuing or renewing an ID card for all ages for citizens, GCC nationals and residents are Dhs150, ICP indicated.

The financial guarantee for an entry visa for a single visit trip is Dhs1,000, while the guarantee for a visit for several trips is Dhs2,000, and the guarantee for a multiple-entry tourism for a period of 5 years is Dhs3,000. The guarantee for recruitment of a category of helping workers is Dhs2,000 and the guarantee fees for the foreigner’s inclusion in the administrative list of establishments are Dhs2,000, ICP said, adding that the fees for cancelling the guarantor’s residency or the host without cancelling the residency of foreigners brought in with a guarantee of Dhs5,000.

The financial guarantee for bringing an investor’s family is Dhs3,000 for each person, with a maximum of Dhs15,000, while the financial guarantee for the tourist establishment card is Dhs75,000 and subscription to the electronic system amount is Dhs1,000.

Regarding fines, the ICP said that the fine for foreigner’s overstay after cancelling or expiration of his residency is Dhs50 for each day, and the fine for delaying reporting any change or modification in the data within 30 days, or not renewing the ID card after expiration is Dhs20 for each day of delay, with a maximum of Dhs1,000. As for a foreigner who had a child in the UAE, the fine is applied 4 months after the date of birth.

The ICP pointed out that the fine for delaying the renewal of the establishment card within 30 days from its expiry date is Dhs100 for each month of delay, with a maximum of Dhs1,000.

The ICP also imposed a fine of Dhs2,000 for misuse of smart services, a Dhs20,000 fine for issuing entry visas for an establishment with no activity, a Dhs3,000 fine for providing incorrect data, a Dhs100 fine for inaccuracy in typing applications by system users, a Dhs5,000 fine for obstructing the work of the ICP’s employees or not cooperating with them, and a Dhs1,000 fine for changing the establishment’s data without notifying the ICP.

The ICP reportedly imposed a fine of Dhs2,000 in the event of violating the instructions and decisions issued by it and violating the undertakings of the establishment and individuals towards it.

Regarding exemption from fines, the ICP said that 3 categories are exempted from the administrative fine fees related to its services of the ICP, including an individual who left the country and spent more than 3 months outside it, persons whose ID card expired after the date of his departure, and persons whose residency or ID card expired after his deportation by order or decision.
