In collaboration with the National Guard – National Search and Rescue Centre, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs conducted the third medical evacuation operation for an Emirati family involved in a major vehicular accident in the Sultanate of Oman.

This mission exemplifies the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' unwavering dedication to safeguarding the wellbeing of UAE nationals overseas and underscores its pivotal role in offering assistance and swift action in emergency circumstances.

In close collaboration with the Omani authorities, the third successful airlift of the injured woman from Oman to the UAE was conducted via the National Guard's search and rescue aircraft, with the objective of ensuring that she completes her treatment in her home country, accompanied by her family members.

In this context, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends its gratitude to the Omani authorities for their invaluable assistance in facilitating the success of this medical evacuation mission, particularly in supporting the UAE Embassy in Muscat.

The Ministry reiterates its advice to all travellers to exercise caution and observe the relevant traffic laws, regulations and rules while travelling by road. In addition, travellers are urged to adhere to the speed limit in order to ensure their own safety and that of others.
