Abu Dhabi Commercial Court obliged a company to pay another Dhs103,157, in addition to a 5% annual delay interest until full payment, not exceeding the principal amount, as well as Dhs1,968 for the translation expenses of the case documents, and the fees of the case and lawyer's fees.

The appellee company requested the plaintiff company to provide security guard services to guard its sites, and they agreed under a one-year security guard services contract, renewable by mutual agreement of the parties.

The first company was asked to provide a sufficient number of security personnel, while the second would undertake the tasks of continuous supervision of the guarded sites, preparation of security and safety reports, and coordination with the competent departments regarding security, civil defence, and ambulance services, in addition to salary payments.

The plaintiff company committed to fulfilling the agreement, but the appellee failed to pay the agreed-upon amount.

The case documents indicated that the expert accountant's report affirmed that the two parties agreed on the tasks of each party, and the appellant company fulfilled its obligations and provided the required security personnel for guarding. However, the appellee company refused to pay the full amount and became indebted to the plaintiff for Dhs103,157.

The court stated it was satisfied with the expert's report, which was based on the submitted documents, and subsequently issued its ruling.
