His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, expressed gratitude to the individuals responsible for the launch of the 'Holy Quran' channel by the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA).

He directed them to select appropriate recites and adhere to the established rules for starting and stopping, with the aim of maintaining the clarity and coherence of the verses.

Sheikh Sultan expressed gratitude for the launch of the Holy Quran channel from Sharjah, noting that he follows the reciters and has observations to share.

These remarks were made during a telephone conversation via the "Direct Line" programme with Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the SBA.

In this instance, the reciter is required to return to the two preceding words before the word at which he ceased reading and resume until the verse is complete.

This procedure is to be followed in the event that the verse does not convey its intended meaning. It is therefore incumbent upon the channel's management to pay close attention to such matters as exclusion and addition, as well as other factors that must be taken into account when reading the Holy Qur'an.

Additionally, Sheikh Sultan announced the construction of a multi-storey car park for visitors to the Hanging Gardens in Kalba, with the objective of alleviating congestion at the entrance to the city.

The construction of a multi-storey parking facility at the end of the Hanging Gardens in Kalba has been proposed as a solution to the congestion issues that have arisen due to the popularity of the site.

The building will comprise three or four floors with approximately 300 or 400 parking spaces, respectively, and will include a lift to facilitate access for visitors who are unable to use the stairs.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah has indicated that this solution was devised following the recent closure of the Hanging Gardens through Kalba due to the large number of visitors.
