Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajman University, attended a roundtable discussion held in honour of Smriti Zubin Irani, former Cabinet Minister of India and aimed at strengthening the UAE-India's bilateral relations and cooperation.
Held in Ajman, the event titled ‘’India-UAE Synergies: Exploring Strategic Market Opportunities in India'' focused on unlocking potential in sectors like technology, renewable energy, and education.
Moderated by Dr. Ashwin Fernandes, Executive Director for Africa, Middle. East and South Asia at Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the discussion, which brought together prominent business leaders and investors from both countries, reviewed models of Indian projects and investments in the UAE and discussed ways to explore economic opportunities in the Indian market.
Highlighting the significance of the event, Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi remarked, "The UAE and India share an enduring partnership that has grown stronger with time, built on mutual trust, respect, and shared ambitions. Sheikh Rashid emphasised the importance of fostering innovation and strategic partnerships to achieve shared goals.
Participants stressed that the UAE and the Emirate of Ajman provide all facilities and incentives to support the investment sector in order to achieve its growth, expansion and success.
