King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain has awarded the King Hamad Order of the Renaissance to His Highness Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, in recognition of his efforts in strengthening the long-standing bilateral relations between the UAE and Bahrain.
King Hamad highlighted the enduring bonds that unite the UAE and Bahrain, their leadership and their people, underscoring a shared commitment to advancing these ties across various fields, rooted in the deep and historic connections between the two nations.
His Highness Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his gratitude and appreciation to King Hamad for the honour, reaffirming the UAE's commitment to bolstering partnerships between the two countries.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi also commended the progress in cooperation that aligns with the aspirations and mutual interests of both nations.
He praised King Hamad Bin's unwavering dedication to strengthening relations between the UAE and Bahrain and expanding collaboration and partnership in key sectors.
Sheikh Khaled extended his wishes for Bahrain’s continued progress, prosperity, and welfare.
Earlier King Hamad received Sheikh Khaled at Al Sakhir Palace in Manama, as part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
King Hamad welcomed Sheikh Khaled and his accompanying delegation, engaging in discussions that reflect the historic ties and fraternal bonds between the two countries and their people.
At the outset of the meeting, Sheikh Khaled conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court; along with their best wishes for King Hamad's health and happiness, and for continued progress and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.
In turn, King Hamad shared greetings with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi to Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid and Sheikh Mansour, and King Hamad's wishes for further progress and development for the UAE and its people.
During the meeting, discussions focused on bolstering cooperation between the UAE and Bahrain across sectors of mutual interest and ways to further elevate collaboration and develop strategic partnerships.
