Silent prayer held at Wahat Al Karama

Sheikh Theyab Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs, has attended a silent prayer at Wahat Al Karama, Abu Dhabi.
Organised by the Presidential Court and held on Commemoration Day, the event included a silent prayer, raising of the UAE flag and playing of the national anthem, expressing unity of the UAE’s people and their pride in the nation’s fallen heroes.
On Friday, Sheikh Theyab said that the UAE’s history is marked by days of pride and honour, with the Nov.30 being a key day to remember the sacrifices of the nation’s martyrs.
On Commemoration Day, Sheikh Theyab highlighted that the martyrs’ courage and determination in defending justice and truth have left an enduring legacy.
He affirmed that honouring the martyrs is a tribute to their sacrifices, which ensure the nation’s strength and pride.
Sheikh Theyab concluded by saying, “On this day, we celebrate the martyrs and their families, remembering their sacrifices with pride, and reaffirming that the nation will always honour those who gave their lives to keep it strong and proud.”
Recently, Sheikh Theyab attended the inaugural Erth Zayed Philanthropies Forum in Abu Dhabi.
The Erth Zayed Philanthropies Forum brought together philanthropic entities that are part of Erth Zayed, including Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, Emirates Foundation, Mohamed Bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund, Sandooq Al Watan, Clean Rivers, the Global Institute for Disease Elimination, Zayed Sustainability Prize, Khalifa Award for Education, Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation, the Mohamed Bin Zayed Award for Best Teacher, and the International Fund for Houbara Conservation.
On the occasion of the inaugural Erth Zayed Philanthropies Forum, Sheikh Theyab said: “Erth Zayed Philanthropies will seek to enhance the reach and effectiveness of the UAE’s philanthropic activities, but it cannot do so alone.
