His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has shared the report on all government departments in Dubai submitted by the mystery shopper team.
Sheikh Mohammed took note of three directors of government institutions who ordered large offices to be made for themselves and appointed managers, secretaries, and security officers in front of their doors.
They prevented people from reaching them under the pretext that the government was smart and transactions were digital, pleading that websites were supposed to receive people’s needs and address their issues, he said.
At the same time, Sheikh Mohammed praised the efforts and work of Lieutenant General Mohammed Al Marri, Director General of General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai, in terms of receiving visitors, completing humanitarian and exceptional transactions, opening the doors of his office to everyone.
Forwarding a message to everyone, Sheikh Mohammed said: “The secret of our success lies in serving people, easing their lives and constantly communicating with them. These are our governmental principles. We have not changed them and whoever thinks that we have changed, we will change them.”
Sheikh Mohammed affirmed that Dubai’s global reputation today is a natural result of its fast services and open work environment that cares about people.
“Brothers and sisters, over 30 years of government development, we have established a culture of open doors for people or rather a culture of no doors before people. Dubai’s global reputation today is a natural result of its fast services and its open work environment that cares about people,” Sheikh Mohammed tweeted on X platform.
“I heard good news about my brother Mohammed Al Marri, Director General of General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai, in terms of receiving visitors, completing humanitarian and exceptional transactions, his continuous presence with the public and his office that is open to everyone,” he added.
“On the same day, I also received news about three general directors in Dubai, who ordered large offices to be made for themselves and appointed managers, secretaries, and security officers in front of their doors. They prevented people from reaching them under the pretext that the government was smart, transactions were digital and websites were supposed to receive people’s needs and address their issues,” he said.
“Therefore, I have instructed the mystery shopper team to submit a report to me on all departments. My message and advice to everyone is that the secret to our success lies in serving people, easing their lives and constantly communicating with them. These are our governmental principles. We have not changed them and whoever thinks that we have changed, we will change them,” he added.
