His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has directed the Department of Islamic Affairs to commence construction of ten new mosques in the central region of the emirate during the year 2025.
This was revealed by Abdullah Khalifa bin Yarouf Al Sabousi, Chairman of the Department of Islamic Affairs, via the “Direct Line” radio programme on Tuesday.
His Highness also directed to establish a branch of Victoria School in the city of Al Dhaid.
This was revealed by Engineer Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Sharjah Public Works Department, through the Direct Line.
He said, “The Ruler of Sharjah has directed the commencement of the establishment of a branch of Victoria School in the city of Al Dhaid. It is anticipated that the project will be completed and the school will be operational by the end of 2025.”
“His Highness has also directed the addition of a nursery stage in all branches of Victoria Schools in the emirate, as well as the construction of dedicated buildings for these nurseries,” Al Suwaidi added.
