Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah recorded the lowest temperature in the country for the second day in a row on Tuesday morning, reaching 4.3°C at 3:15am, while Jebel Mabarah recorded the second-lowest temperature at 6.5°C at 6:15am, according to The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The National Centre of Meteorology has expected that humidity levels are expected to be high on Wednesday morning, with the possibility of light fog forming in the morning over some internal areas. The winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly in direction and of a light to moderate speed, with intermittent periods of increased activity. The wind speed is expected to reach 10 to 25 km/h, with isolated instances of higher speeds up to 40 km/h. The waves will be of moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and light in the Sea of Oman.
The weather on Wednesday is expected to be generally clear to partly cloudy sky, with humidity at night and on Thursday morning in some inland. Additionally, northwesterly winds are expected to be light to moderate in speed and active to strong at sea, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h, reaching 45 km/h. The sea will be experiencing moderate to strong winds in the Arabian Gulf and light to moderate winds in the Sea of Oman.
Thursday’s weather is expected to be predominantly clear to partly cloudy, with humidity reaching its peak at night and in some inland areas on Friday morning. Winds originating from the north-west are anticipated to be light to moderate in speed, with intermittent periods of increased activity, reaching speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, with the potential for gusts up to 40 km/h. Waves conditions are expected to be rough to medium in the Arabian Gulf and light to medium in the Sea of Oman.
The weather on Friday is expected to be predominantly clear and intermittently overcast sky, with a likelihood of elevated humidity levels at night and on Saturday morning in some inland areas. Additionally, the possibility of the formation of light fog or mist was indicated, accompanied by winds originating from the northwesterly to southeasterly directions. Winds are expected to be light to moderate in speed, occasionally active, with a speed of 10 to 20 km/h, reaching 35 km/h. In the Arabian Gulf, waves will be medium to light, while in the Sea of Oman, they will be light.
The weather on Saturday is forecast to be predominantly clear, with occasional partial cloud cover. Low clouds are expected to form over some northern and eastern regions, while humidity levels are anticipated to be high overnight and on Sunday morning.
