Mohammed declares winner of Great Arab Minds Award in literature & art

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said, “We congratulate Iraqi artist Dia Al Azzawi, winner of the Great Arab Minds Award in literature and Arts.

Al Azzawi drew inspiration from the heritage of Mesopotamia to present many works of art that were displayed in the world’s most prominent museums and exhibitions. His works dealt with Arab humanitarian issues and combined calligraphy, poetry and heritage in a contemporary artistic style.”

Sheikh Mohammed added in a tweet on X platform, “We congratulate artist Dia Al Azzawi on his victory and celebrate his creativity that inspired generations and made Arab art an influential global message.”
