The 21st aid plane from the United Arab Emirates arrived at Beirut Airport as part of the "The UAE is with you, Lebanon" campaign, launched at the beginning of October 2024 to support the Lebanese people, under the directives of His Highness The President, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and the supervision of sheikh Theyab Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of Staff for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs and Chairman of the International Humanitarian Affairs Council.
This plane contains various medical supplies as essential needs for many Lebanese children, women, and the elderly. It is part of a series of UAE relief aid planes as a continuous humanitarian air bridge to support the Lebanese people in the face of difficult circumstances, critical times, and urgent situations in the region.
