Dubai civil defence teams brought under control a fire that broke out in a building in Al Barsha on Sunday. No casualties were reported as a result of the fire.
Dubai Civil Defence’s operations room received a report at 11:33pm stating that a fire erupted in the façade of an 8-floor building in Al Barsha. Fire engine from Al Barsha Fire Station rushed to the scene of the fire accordingly.
According to a civil defence source, the fire engines reached the scene of the fire in five minutes to find that the fire broke out in the front façade of the building. The dedicated teams started to evacuated the building and put out the fire.
The fire was brought under control in 30 minutes and was put out at 11:48pm. The civil defence teams subsequently started cooling the scene of the fire before handing it over to the competent authorities.
