Emirates Airlines has announced the extension of the suspension of all flights to and from Beirut and Baghdad until January 31, 2025.
The airline has stated that passengers intending to travel to Beirut or Baghdad via Dubai would not be permitted to use the city as a transit point from their point of departure.
The airline further stated that flydubai flights to Baghdad were operating in accordance with the usual schedule. Passengers with confirmed flydubai bookings to Baghdad as their ultimate destination would be permitted to travel. They should regularly check their flight status on the flydubai website, it added.
In the event of flight cancellations, customers are advised to contact their booking agents to arrange alternative travel options, or contact Emirates directly if their booking was made through the company.
The company emphasised the importance of customers updating their contact details via the "Manage Booking" option on the company's website, in order to ensure they receive the latest updates related to their flights.
The company has also confirmed that it was closely monitoring the situation in the region and was in constant contact with the relevant authorities regarding any developments.
