Injured man airlifted to hospital from Ras Al Khaimah mountain

The National Search and Rescue Centre of the National Guard, working closely with the Ras Al Khaimah Police, successfully carried out a medical evacuation of an injured individual engaged in mountaineering activities in a mountainous area in Ras Al Khaimah.

Following the prompt reporting of the incident, the individual's location was swiftly ascertained, and he was expeditiously airlifted to Al Qasimi Hospital for essential treatment.

The National Guard and Ras Al Khaimah Police have issued a clear warning to visitors, calling them on to adhere to the public safety guidelines and to follow the necessary preventive measures to ensure their safety.

The National Guard has also urged the public to contact the search and rescue emergency line (995) to report any emergencies that require assistance or intervention.
