The Traffic and Patrols Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police has decided to reduce the maximum speed on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Salem Street (E11) from 100 to 80 km/h. The radar speed on the street will now be 101 km/h, down from 121 km/h. This change will be effective from January 17.
The Ras Al Khaimah Police have confirmed via the social media platform X that the decision has been taken with the aim of ensuring the safety of all road users.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Salem Street (E11) extends from the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (Al Raffa) roundabout to the Marjan Island roundabout.
