Public parking in Kalba will be subject to fees from February

The public parking in Kalba city will become paid from first of February, in coordination with the Sharjah Municipality, Ahmed Al Mazrouei, Director of Kalba Municipality, confirmed.
During a phone call to the “Direct Line” programme, broadcast in Sharjah, Al Mazrouei stated that 6,000 parking spaces would be subject to fees.
He further explained that these fees could be paid via SMS via '5566', or through '68' payment machines located across the city. Alternatively, payments could be made through the 'Sharjah Digital App'.It was also stated that individuals with disabilities and senior citizens over the age of 60 are exempt from the fees.
