This towering mountain in the north of Ras Al Khaimah is the highest mountain peak in the country, approximately 25 kilometers away from the centre of Ras Al Khaimah City, according to local estimates.
It is located adjacent to the town of Ghalilah and Wadi Ghalilah, at an altitude of approximately 1,900 meters (5,700 feet) above sea level.
Jebel Jais occupies a remarkable location, amidst picturesque nature and a charming mountainous environment and overlooks a number of palm groves and surrounding residential areas, drawing beautiful and captivating pictures of nature.
The towering mountainous area overlooks directly and picturesquely the coast of the Arabian Gulf in the region, where only a narrow strip separates the mountain from the sea, estimated to be only 6 kilometers wide.
